King Keith, May i recomend you create a section where people may apply for citizenship. This way, we can monitor the number of citizens, and how many are active, etc.

i don't see the point of trying to find out how many are active, it's easier to say the number of posts per day...

not really, because that tells us nothing of how the nation is progressing. For all we know, it could look really active but could actually be pointless posts by one or two people. Personally I think it is much better to be able to see how many citizens are active than seeing how many posts per day there are.

but it's difficult to accurately say who's active and who's not, a combination can be used, the one i stick with is a system where active citizens is either posts per day or number of citizens registered on forum, whichever is smaller

Yes, I see what you mean. Maybe you could determine whether they are active by using the pie charts you use, or do this - -Find the average post number per person by dividing total number of posts on the boards by the number of people, and then anyone above this figure in their post numbers, is classed as active?

that could work in theory... i'll test it with a couple of nations:
my method: 1)new-empire = 1 2)new brittannia = 10 3)llama = 1.5 4)azzoria imperium = 1
your method: 1)new-empire = 8 2)new brittannia = 7 3)llama = 2 4)azzoria imperium = 2

And according to my calculations using my method, NB would have 9 Active citizens.
